Roland C. Becker Club Championship
A tradition like no other…The tournament was inspired by a former Mt. Prospect Park District Commissioner Roland C. Becker. Roland served on the park district board for 8 years and was instrumental in the park district’s original purchase of the Mt. Prospect Golf Club. The historic championship started in August 1974. The championship has always offered a competitive field for all levels of golfers and includes all ages from 4 to 90+. The field of past club champions have gone on to compete in both state and national championships, as well as receive many college golf scholarships. A championship awards night and dinner is held the closing Sunday of the week long event.
