Golf-Adult Lessons Level 1 – Get Golf Ready in 5 Lessons (15 yr-Adult) This series of lessons will take individuals who have never played the game of golf and within five weeks, provide them the necessary instruction to be ready to play out on the golf course. The first four lessons will deal with grip and setup, as well as instruction on irons, woods, chipping & putting. The last lesson will be on the golf course, teaching what clubs to use in certain situations and the rules and etiquette of the game. Repeat level 1 as many times as necessary. To practice and test their skills, at the completion of the level, each student will receive a free 9-hole round of golf with cart to be used at their leisure. Clubs needed: Weeks 1 & 2 (5,7 & 9 iron), Week 3 (1,3 & 5 wood), Week 4 (7 iron, pitching wedge & putter), Week 5 (all clubs). Instructors: Jeff Langguth, PGA & Eric Pick, PGA Level 2 – Play Better Golf (15 yr-Adult) This series of lessons is for individuals who have played the game of golf but want to improve their skills or just need a refresher. The first two lessons include instruction of iron & wood play. The third focuses on short game (pitching & sand). The last lesson begins with a half hour lesson on the range followed by self-directed play on the course. To practice and test their skills, at the completion of the level, each student will receive a free 9-hole round of golf with cart to be used at their leisure. Clubs needed: Week 1 (5,7 & 9 iron), Week 2 (1,3 & 5 wood), Week 3 (pitching wedge & sand wedge), Weeks 4 (all clubs). Instructors Jeff Langguth PGA & Eric Pick PGA Level 3 – Semi-Private Instruction & On-Course Play (15 yr-Adult) This session allows an opportunity to have more individualized instruction. During the first lesson, there will be a full hour of a semi-private lesson by a golf professional to work on the student’s individual needs followed by self-directed play. The last two lessons will begin with a half hour lesson by a golf professional followed by self-directed play. Repeat level 3 as many times as necessary. To practice and test their skills, at the completion of the level, each student will receive a free 9-hole round of golf with cart to be used at their leisure. Clubs needed: Weeks 1-3 (all clubs). Instructors  Jeff Langguth PGA & Eric Pick PGA Ladies Golf Night & Wine Tasting Enjoy a golf lesson from a member of our PGA staff followed by wine tasting on our beautiful outdoor patio. Each Friday night includes golf instruction from 6:30-7:15pm followed by sampling regional wines from across the country. You’re welcome to stay, relax and enjoy the evening on our patio as long as you like! Clubs Needed: Week 1-Irons (5, 7 and 9 Iron), Week 2-Woods (1 & 3 Wood), Week 3-Short Game (7-Iron, PW and Putter) & Week 4-On Course (All Clubs).  If you don’t have clubs, clubs will be provided at no cost. Golf-Youth Lessons Level 1 Beginning Youth Lessons (4-5 yr) These lessons introduce golf with special skill-building games and instruction. The class starts with SNAG Golf oversized plastic clubs and golf balls and move on to real clubs and range balls. Emphasis is on fun. All clubs are provided. Everyone completing the course receives a FREE golf club and round of family golf! NEW! Level 2 Beginning Youth Lessons (4-5 yr) These lessons are for those who have taken Level 1. All real clubs and range balls are used. New golf clubs and shot types are introduced. You can bring your own clubs, otherwise clubs will be provided. Everyone completing the course receives a FREE golf club and round of family golf! Level 1 Youth Lessons (6-11 yr) In six one-hour classes, we teach basic fundamentals such as grip, stance, swing and short game. Kids play skill-building games and compete for prizes. We’ll also cover rules and golf course etiquette. Everyone completing the course receives a FREE golf club and round of family golf! Clubs needed: Any wood, any 2 irons, a PW and a putter. Clubs will be provided for those participants that do not have their own clubs. Level 2 Youth Lessons (6-11 yr) This level is designed to prepare kids already introduced to golf to move into on-course play. Basic fundamentals are reinforced including grip, stance, swing and short game. Everyone completing the course receives a FREE golf club and round of family golf! Any wood, any 2 irons, a PW, a SW and a putter. Clubs will be provided for those participants that do not have their own clubs. A-Flight Youth Lessons (12 yr & up) Designed for beginning students who want to learn the fundamentals of competitive golf and short game. Everyone completing the course receives a FREE golf club and round of family golf! Clubs needed: Any wood, any 2 irons, a PW, a SW and a putter. Clubs will be provided for those participants that do not have their own clubs.  Four Day Junior Golf Camp Learn, practice and experience golf in a fun and productive atmosphere.  The Four Day Junior Golf Camp is designed for the aspiring junior golfer looking to improve their golf game and confidence.  The focus is to instill lifelong fundamentals and passion for the game. Swing improvement, short game skills, course management, golf fitness, golf etiquette and the rules of golf are the foundation of the program. This all-around approach will teach students to practice and play golf with a purpose.  Each day players will have the opportunity for on-course coaching by playing holes on the golf course. This camp is designed for golfers age 12 to 17 with some golf experience. Junior Short Game School For the motivated junior golfer looking to improve their skill set within the scoring zone.  Shots within 50 yards will be the main focus including bunker shots. Creativity, visualization, proper set-up, club selection, and shot choice will all be highlighted. Prospect High School Boys & Girls Golf & Feeder Camp This program is designed for boys and girls interested in improving their skills and intending to play on the Prospect High School Golf Team. The fee includes all range, practice and greens fees, two 9-hole greens fee vouchers, prizes, t-shirt, and approximately 9.5-12.5 hours of golf instruction, depending on the age group, from Prospect High School golf coaches, Top PGA teaching professional Eric Pick, and Alumni.  All areas of the game will be covered and the players will learn team philosophies and drills. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to participate. Don’t miss out on all of the fun! No make-ups for days cancelled due to weather. Campers will receive a free 18-hole greens fee for any cancelled days. Challenge Golf League (10-15 yr) This league provides competitive team play for juniors in the Suburban Junior Golf League. Boys and girls compete in team play with formats including scramble and best ball. Our team will compete in six meets and one skills challenge against area golf courses. Practice will be held each Tuesday at 1:30pm. Players have the option of 1 hour of instruction with a PGA Professional or playing nine holes on their own. Meets will be on Wednesday afternoon at 1:00pm. Players must have previously completed a minimum of two sessions of junior golf lessons to compete. All golfers must have their own set of clubs and a bag. All players receive a free team shirt. No Class: Tu/W 7/2-7/3 Youth Play League (10-15 yr) Non-competitive Kids can enjoy a weekly non-competitive nine-hole play with their friends and have the course reserved just for them. Staff will supervise play. Etiquette, speed of play and rules will be enforced, but the emphasis will still be on fun. Tee times will be assigned according to registration date, players may form their own foursome. One week prior to the first scheduled class date, players will be notified of the assigned tee time, which run from 1:30 to 3:30 pm each week. The participant’s 9-hole round will take around 2 and 1/2 hours to complete.  To register, you must have completed a minimum of two sessions of junior golf lessons to compete. All golfers must have their own set of clubs. If the participant cannot play any week or the week is rained out, a 9-hole raincheck will be issued to be used at anytime.
